2016 Spartan Arabia Race - Dubai Night Photography
Hello sports fans,
Whilst out in Dubai, UAE shooting the 2016 Spartan Arabia race with our friends and colleagues at Epic Action Imagery and Outpost 9, we all could not miss an opportunity to photograph the Dubai city skyline at night. Dubai is on every photographers list due to its amazing city skyline and not to miss the worlds tallest building - the Burj Khalifa at 830m (2,723 feet) tall.
We were very fortunate that our colleague at Outpost 9 video productions was friends with a couple of free runners based in the city and they were able to show us roof tops across the city that enabled us to take breathtaking images and also the best location to capture the Burj Khalifa. I have to say climbing ladders from the roof top of a 70 storey building to even higher places was exhilarating and frightening. At these locations, there are no barriers and we were only a couple of feet from the building edge. The free runners manage the location with ease and just sit on the edge of the building dangling their legs as they enjoy the tremendous views in all directions. With their help we saw some spectacular city sites and a place to remember. We were out until 4:30am the next day enjoying the city - a great night.
Below are just a few of the images from the evening.
